Refugee Council (Flüchtlingsrat)
In Germany, independent refugee councils in almost every federal state advocate for the rights of refugees. They offer advice, political advocacy, and professional support to individuals, initiatives, and both paid and volunteer staff.
The refugee councils work independently, are organized within civil society and pursue the common goal of helping refugees to achieve a dignified stay, fair procedures and social participation.
