Pena.ger thrives on the dedication of many committed individuals. Our work would not be possible without volunteer support – be it through language interpretation, counseling, public relations, or fundraising.
How can you contribute?
Language Mediation
Language barriers make it difficult for many people seeking advice to access authorities, medical care, and legal support.
Do you speak several languages ?
Then we would be delighted to have your support as an interpreter! We coordinate assignments
flexibly, respectfully, and in close consultation with you by taking your availability and individual circumstances into account.

Counseling & Accompaniment
Do you have experience in social work, law, education, or health?
We are looking for dedicated volunteer advisors to support refugees with complex issues, such as filling out applications, dealing with authorities, or navigating the asylum system.
We offer, among other things, professional support and regular opportunities for exchange .
With your help, we create protection, room for maneuver and rapid support for people in particularly vulnerable situations .
Donations that provide direct help – enabling support in acute emergencies
Your donation can provide concrete, immediate assistance, for example by covering legal fees for an initial consultation, travel expenses, or short-term accommodation in an acute emergency. Even small amounts can make a big difference. You can support us, for example, through regular donations or by contacting potential sponsors in your network.
We work by refugees for refugees , on equal footing, with the goal of empowering people to act independently.
Participation is not an option for us, but a fundamental principle. The majority of our team has their own experiences of displacement; this lived perspective shapes our work and is central to what defines us. An important goal is to provide our colleagues with refugee experience with a secure future in Germany.

Creating Publicity – For Justice and Visibility
